THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT VINYL

The redesign for The Tortured Poets Department vinyl reflects themes of longing, self-discovery, and vulnerability, central to Taylor Swift’s album. The outer plastic sleeve portrays a dark hand reaching for another, symbolizing yearning and connection. Once removed, the light reveals the illuminated hand, suggesting empowerment and the realization that happiness lies within our control. The inner sleeve mimics a poet’s desk, scattered with raw, personal notes, evoking creativity and introspection. The mirrored vinyl label invites listeners to see themselves, emphasizing introspection and self-awareness as the music spins.

Expanding beyond the physical design, the project includes a social media campaign featuring four carousel posts that bring the album’s storytelling to life, alongside Spotify play screens for three key songs, amplifying the album’s themes of emotional depth and artistic vulnerability across platforms.
